WealthON Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

WealthON (wealthon.cloud) is a product of Ek Blink Solutions, the trading name of SN Group of Companies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16337429 ("we", "us", "our"). For the purposes of UK and EU data protection law, we are the data controller of the personal data described in this Policy. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

Account and profile data: your email address, display name (where provided), authentication method (email/password or Google sign-in), and your currency display preference.

Financial data you provide: bank account nicknames, account types (for example current account, savings account, ISA, SIPP, NRE, NRO, FCNR, fixed deposit), masked last-4 account digits, balances, and currency, together with any investment and insurance details you choose to record. We do not collect or store full bank account numbers, sort codes, IFSC codes, or login credentials for any external bank or financial institution.

Imported statement data: if you use the Smart Importer, we process the PDF or CSV statement you upload in order to extract transaction data for your review and approval before it is saved. Imported files are processed for parsing purposes and are not retained beyond what is necessary to complete the import.

Payment data: if you subscribe to Premium, your payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full card number on our own systems.

Usage and technical data: if you consent to analytics cookies, we collect data about how you use the Service (pages visited, features used, general device and browser information) via PostHog. We do not collect any analytics data before you provide consent.

Communications: if you contact our support team, we keep a record of that correspondence in order to respond to you and improve our service.

3. How We Collect Your Data

We collect data that you provide directly (account registration, manual entry, file uploads, support enquiries) and data collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies once you have given consent (see Section 9).

4. Lawful Basis for Processing (UK & EU GDPR)

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to our processing of your data, we rely on the following lawful bases:

• Contract: processing necessary to provide the Service you have signed up for (account creation, dashboard functionality, Smart Importer, subscription billing).
• Consent: for analytics cookies and any product update or marketing emails you opt into. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests: for example, maintaining the security and integrity of the Service, and responding to support enquiries, where this does not override your own rights and freedoms.
• Legal obligation: where we are required to retain certain records (for example, billing records) to comply with applicable law.

5. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

• create and manage your account, and authenticate your sign-ins;
• provide the dashboard, Smart Importer, Investments, and Insurance features;
• process Premium subscription payments via Stripe;
• send transactional emails (such as signup confirmation and password reset) necessary to operate your account;
• send product-related emails only if you have opted in to receive them;
• respond to support requests;
• understand how WealthON is used, in order to improve it, where you have consented to analytics cookies;
• meet our legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your financial data to provide financial, tax, or investment advice, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

6. Data Sharing and Third-Party Processors

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share data only with the following service providers, who process it on our behalf and under contract to provide the Service:

These providers are contractually required to use your data only for the purposes we specify and to apply appropriate security measures.

7. International Data Transfers

WealthON is operated from the United Kingdom, and our service providers may process data in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other countries (including the United States) that have been assessed as providing an adequate level of data protection, or where appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. Where you access WealthON from India, the United States, Canada, Australia, or elsewhere, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United Kingdom and the countries listed above, in accordance with applicable cross-border data transfer rules in your jurisdiction.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your WealthON account remains active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records for longer to meet our legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations - for example, billing and transaction records connected to Premium subscriptions, which UK law generally requires us to retain for up to 6 years. Imported statement files are processed for parsing and are not retained once the import has been reviewed and approved or discarded by you.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

WealthON uses cookies and similar technologies as follows:

Strictly necessary cookies: used to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie consent choice and theme preference. These cannot be switched off, as the Service cannot function without them.

Analytics cookies: we use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how WealthON is used. These cookies are set only after you actively consent via our cookie banner; no analytics data is collected before consent is given.

We do not currently use any advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not use any third-party cookies beyond PostHog as described above.

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time by clearing WealthON's cookies in your browser settings, which will cause the consent banner to appear again on your next visit. Withdrawing consent will stop new analytics data being collected but does not affect data already processed before withdrawal.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:

If you are in the UK or EU (GDPR): the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to our processing of your data; the right to data portability; and the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.

If you are in India (DPDP Act 2023): as a Data Principal, you have the right to access information about your personal data, the right to correction and erasure, the right to grievance redressal, and the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. You may direct any grievance to our Grievance Redressal contact at support@wealthon.cloud.

If you are in California or another US state with applicable privacy law: you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share your personal data as defined under the CCPA/CPRA, so there is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism required, as we do not engage in either activity.

If you are in Canada (PIPEDA / Quebec Law 25): you have the right to access and request correction of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for processing that depends on consent (such as analytics cookies and marketing emails).

If you are in Australia (Privacy Act 1988 / Australian Privacy Principles): you have the right to access and seek correction of your personal data, and to make a complaint about how we have handled it, including to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if unresolved.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@wealthon.cloud. We will respond within the timeframe required by the applicable law in your jurisdiction.

11. Marketing Communications

We will only send you product-related or marketing emails if you have actively opted in to receive them. You can opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by changing your preference in Settings. Transactional emails necessary to operate your account (such as signup confirmation, password reset, and important service notices) will still be sent regardless of your marketing preference, as these are necessary for the Service to function.

12. Children's Privacy

WealthON is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@wealthon.cloud so that we can remove it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly, for example by email.
